1. What this is
You provide a professional service (legal, financial, survey or after-sales) to clients of GetCasa, a licensed property buying service in Portugal (Get Casa Unipessoal Lda, AMI licence 24277). You work for the client in your own name and under your own professional responsibility. You are not GetCasa's employee or agent and cannot sign or promise anything on our behalf.
2. Only your assigned cases
You see only the clients GetCasa assigns to you, and only what GetCasa shares with you. Lawyers and financial advisers see the client's contact details and purchase price because they act for the client. Surveyors and after-sales providers see the client's name, phase and property address; contact details only if GetCasa has allowed you to contact the client directly.
3. Confidentiality and data protection
Client information is personal data (identity, financial and property information). Use it only to do the work on that case. Do not copy it, share it with anyone else or keep it longer than your professional duties require. Keep your login private and use the authenticator app. Tell us at once if you think data was lost, seen by the wrong person or misused.
4. GetCasa sits in the middle
Send everything to GetCasa: reports, drafts, quotes, questions and requests. Nothing you submit reaches the client or other providers until GetCasa reviews and shares it. Requests for information go to GetCasa, not to the client, unless GetCasa has allowed direct contact on a case.
5. Your documents stay yours
GetCasa never edits your reports or drafts. If something needs correcting we return it to you for a revised version, and earlier versions are kept. GetCasa may add its own cover note when it shares your document.
6. Registration and accuracy
The registration number and professional body you gave must be true and stay valid. Tell us immediately if your registration is suspended, withdrawn or changes. You are responsible for the accuracy of your work and for holding the insurance your profession requires.
7. Conflicts of interest and fees
Tell us if you have a personal or financial interest in a property or client. You may not receive an introduction fee for a client you also act for without GetCasa's explicit written decision, and some professions' rules restrict referral fees: check yours. Your fees are agreed separately (for example, a fixed fee for the lawyer's conveyancing paid by the client directly to the lawyer).
8. Approval, access and ending
Your account becomes active only after GetCasa approves it. GetCasa can deactivate your access at any time, and access stops immediately. Records of your work stay for the audit trail and the legal retention periods. You can stop working with us at any time; open cases are handed over properly.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will ask you to accept the new version before you continue. Portuguese law applies. If there is a difference between languages, the Portuguese version prevails.
